In a footage uploaded online, two men were filmed trading blows at a suburban train station in front of horrified commuters.

The violent brawl broke out at Lidcombe, in Sydney's west, on Thursday with the two men throwing punches as calls of 'break it up' were shouted multiple times. Video below...

At one stage, both of the men come dangerously close to falling onto the tracks and are only stopped by quick-thinking bystanders who were forced to intervene.

The two men had earlier been seen brawling on the ground, before multiple punches and kicks were thrown.

Police were called to break-up the melee and when they arrived, officers separated the pair.

A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia officers have spoken to those involved and no charges have been laid, with inquiries continuing.

No serious injuries were reported.
