The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential hopeful, Atiku Abubakar, has picked previous Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi in Abuja, as his running mate for the 2019 presidential races.

Premium Times reports that Obi touched base at Abubakar's living arrangement in Asokoro neighborhood this evening and both had undisclosed talks.

The previous Anambra representative is broadly hypothesized as the running mate to Atiku for the 2019 general decisions.

A few alternatives have been recommended in the general population space, with the hopeful being broadly anticipated that would look over either the southeast or southwest.

Silverbird Television possessed by PDP congressperson, Ben Murray-Bruce has reported that Atiku has made due with Obi.

Obi, 57, is known for working an extremely careful budgetary administration in Anambra state when he filled in as representative.

Atiku's decision of Obi comes 24 hours after he visited the previous president, Olusegun Obasanjo, and the last embraced him as Nigeria's next pioneer.
